About Me
- I have begun going by my first name now, Yvonne, instead of my middle name Adrienne. I am wondering though, maybe I should just go by the name: The Blogger, Formally Known As Adrienne. :-)
- I am a thirty-something reformed church-going daughter of the King, wife of 15 years to my very best friend; my dear Hubby, homeschooling mama of two; a 14 year old biological daughter, Christine, and a 3 year old adopted son, Joshua.
- Joshua has a “clinical” diagnosis of a rare genetic syndrome known as Angelman Syndrome, which means that he does not test genetically for it, but he fits it and “looks” like it as close as possible with the official genetic chromosome match. He is definitly our angel! Look under my tab of Angelman Syndrome to learn more about it and find some very cool sites and blogs to visit!
- Piano is Christine’s instrument of choice, and she takes lessons every week next door. She LOVES to laugh, cuddle with Mama (still), tickle her brother, read adventurous books, talk to her friends, play games with Daddy, and brings joy and fun to anyplace that she is!
- Joshua bangs blocks, is learning to walk with a gait trainer, puts things “in”, practices stair climbing, eats dust bunnies, loves swinging and spinning, any oral sensory experience he can get, blows rasberries, loves hugs and kisses, and playing in any drop of water he can find. Laughing, smiling, and making everyone else in the family laugh are his areas of expertise.

Man Joshua gets more handsome everytime I see him!! Is that his sis,shes very pretty! Hope all is well with you guys. Sending lots of Angel (((((((HUGS)))))))) your way.
